Social Media and Digital Marketing Specialist

I’m a marketing professional who recently graduated with a Business Marketing degree from Ryerson University. I have 3 years of digital marketing experience from being a Marketing Vice-President at RFPA, and a Social Media Marketing Coordinator at Tundra Technical Solutions, and start-up companies such as Drawn To The Game and Renterii. I love to learn and I’m always looking for opportunities to leverage my experience of various skills to advance my Marketing career. I love helping companies grow through social media growth/management, paid social ads, digital strategy, and email marketing

A passionate creative and careful analytic

I have researched and explored many options to further grow my skills with Digital Marketing, some of which has required paid courses and unpaid internships and volunteer opportunities. I started by buying online digital marketing course from Hootsuite Academy, where I earned my Social Marketing certificate. Then I attended a Digital Marketing Bootcamp called BrainStation and gained a Digital Marketing Certificate. This further sparked my interest and passion for Digital Marketing, so after I decided to pursue and get my Google Analytics certificate which I’m still completing models for. I also recently was hired for an unpaid internship with a small Sports Instagram page called “Drawn To The Game” where I’m currently helping them grow their page organically. All these small yet significant experiences have grown my interests in pursuing a Digital marketing career and prove how committed I am to the process

Creative in All Aspects

Ever since I discovered my passion for Digital Marketing, I have been looking for opportunities to grow my knowledge and perfect my skills. Working as a Social Media Marketing Assistant for Tundra Technical Solutions, I gained experience with social media management with Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. I assisted in creating, editing and strategizing targeted content with Photoshop and posted 3-4 times per week to our social pages using Hootsuite. I also helped create content calendars and implemented paid social ad campaigns using Facebook Ad Manager and LinkedIn Ads. Overall, I have helped all of our social channels grow 93% – 121% over a year using organic and paid strategies. Recently, I’ve gotten the opportunity to work as a Social Media Coordinator for Drawn To The Game, where I created content calendars, implemented new social marketing strategies, created targeted captions and researched hashtags to make our page and content more discoverable on the Instagram explore page. We have organically and significantly grown our followers and engagement since I started working 2 months ago.
